Use the directory on the Representative Page to find addresses, phone numbers and email addresses for your NC and US representatives.

Contact them!!    They work for us.  Share your ideas and needs.
For more MEMBERHIP information, go to
http://www.ncrsp.org
Membership forms are available on the website.
Find a friend who is a member and ask for a local contact.

A major lesson for members to remember is to contact SECU immediately if you see a discrepancy in your account or if you think you have become a victim. Do Not give any personal information to a phone caller, even if the person seems SO nice. Hang up. SECU is here for us, so take advantage of their programs: auto loans, legal services, financial assistance.
      DATES FOR 2025
CCRSP meets at Golden Corral Restaurant the 2nd Wednesdays. At noon we meet and share meals at 1 PM.
HOW ARE YOU VOLUNTEERING?
    NCRSP 2025 STATE

A Story of HOPE
The HOPE center, Helping Opportunities for People And Employers, was established in 2019. Located in the same building as the Hickory Soup Kitchen, the focus of the center is to help people get jobs and provide transportation to and from work. Dozens of people have utilized these services which help them become self sufficient. Largely funded by donations and grants, volunteer drivers are essential to the success of the program. As a driver I spend an hour or two picking up the workers at the end of their workday and transporting them back to the soup kitchen parking lot. The length of the drive is determined by the number of employees needing transportation. If you’d like to assist the HOPE Center to donate or volunteer, contact Director Laura Sigmon who is a retired Catawba County teacher.

We celebrate the beginning of education careers and the ones who have ended their lives as educators. Beth Pace shared wonderful stories about six CCRSP members who died in 2024-25.

 HERE WE GO!
What can we do for NC children who come to school expecting to learn, make friends, stay safe, be cared for, loved, respected, listened to, tell stories, have fun.....
How about the educators? Same?
