AUSTIN THORNE & ADDIE PARKER from BANDYS HIGH SCHOOL came to introduce themselves at our June meeting.
Catawba County Retired School Personnel members want to help high school seniors move up the ladder to a earn a degree in education. We offer scholarships to seniors who want to follow a dream of making a difference in the future. Every Catawba County senior is eligible. Teachers, counselors, support staff are desperately needed in North Carolina.

Meet Gabby Vantrano and Raegan Howard with Susan Kanipe. The young women are Bandys HS graduates.
Gabby plans to attend WCU and Raegan travels out of state to attend Kentucky Christian Univ.
Adrick Rosales is a graduate of Discovery
HS/ CVCC. He plans to attend ASU. Ginger Sermons gives him his CCRSP scholarship certificate.
From Challenger HS/CVCC we honor Sara Sherrill. Susan presents her the scholarship certificate to help send her on her way to ASU.
Well, CCRSP has done it again!
Two amazing students have been awarded Mary Murray Scholarships for 2026-27.
Jewel White is a Bandys High School graduate. She will enter Lenoir- Rhyne University in the Fall as an English/Theatre major.
Peyton Hughes is a St. Stephens High School graduate who plans to attend the University of Mississippi. She will study for a degree in Elementary Education.
CCRSP also has 6 current college winners who are eligible to request renewal of their scholarships. The Mary Murray Scholarship is available for each year qualifications are met.
